  1. Odin respawns at the ever-popular location 4. Does Team Ragnorak have a comeback in them?

    1. A comeback (to tie the game) requires a minimum 5 deaths from the other team. If the other team were to "take a knee" as it were, for their turns (waiting 11 hours each), this is impossible.

Not like we're not gonna go down fighting, but those are the facts.

    2. Well, I would hope Team Neeson wouldn't take a knee. Still looking for that Cyberdemon crit...could be the blessing in disguise for the Norse!

      Delete
    3. Doing worry, I at least will only be taking the knee to the Asgardian's faces.

  2. [OOC]
Via the overnight email, sorry didnt stay up late and just woke up!:
    Move to J15.
    Inspiring word on Thor.
    Direct the strike with Thor.

    [Carnage]
Thor heals for (4)+7=11 hp. Tor now at 11 hp.
DtS: Thor makes an MBA vs Qui-Gon: (19)+10-5 for running=24 vs AC 22. A hit! for (5+6)+6=17 damage. Qui-gon drops to 4 hp.

    Aslan is up!

  3. Aslan lets out a mighty roar as victory looms near.

    Tech:
Move: Use Steel Wind to move to H13 avoiding Thor's OA
Standard: Steel Wind on Baldar and Odin (if possible w/ Odin) +6 vs. Ref. 1d8+5 and use flurry of blows on Baldar for 3 damage and pulling him to G14.

    1. [OOC]
There is a LoS there, plus its a burst attack, so cover isn't an issue.

      [Carnage]
Steel Wind vs Odin: (14)+6=20 vs Ref 14...hit! for (4)+5=9 damage. Odin down to 15 hp.
Steel Wind vs Balder: (2)+6=8 vs Ref 16...miss!
roll a two, drink the hooch Aslan!

Balder takes 3 damage from flurry of blows, slid to G14, and is now at 2 hp.
      Balder is up!

  4. Balder readies to release a withering salvo of arrows.

    Tech:
Immediate Interrupt (on Aslan striking Odin): RBA +8 vs AC,1d10+5+1d6(HQ)+1d8+2(DR)
    If successful {
Standard: Skirmishing Shot, move to E12, +7 vs AC against Oskar, 2d10+5
    Minor: pick up BFG
    Move: H15 }

    If Interrupt doesn't hit {
Standard: Twin Strike: +8 vs AC on Aslan, 1d10+1d6(HQ)+1d8+2(DR)
    If successful {
    Move: to E12
    Minor: Pick up BFG }

    If Twin Strike doesn't hit: stay at I15 }

    1. [OOC]
Qui-Gon currently resides in E12, picking up the BFG won't provoke an OA, but moving next to E12 to pick it up and firing your skirmish shot will...so lemme know were you'd like to end your Skirmish move and if you still want the BFG for posterity sake.

      [Carnage]
Guardian Arrow vs Aslan: (14)+8=22 vs AC 19..hit! for (1)+(3)+5+(7)+2= 18 damage. Aslan drops to -8 hp.

As the Interrupt goes off when the attack hit Odin, Aslan falls unconscious before the attack is resolved...Odin therefore back to 24 hp, Balder cannot be flurried (back to 5 hp) and is back to starting at I15, not G14.

      Skirmish Shot:
      (5)+7=12 vs AC 19...miss.

Pick up BFG, move to H15 still? Balder will end his turn in the courtyard and take 10 fire (drops to -5 hp).

Loki rejoins the fight at location 3.

      Delete
    2. I though H15 was outside the courtyard and not subject to fire-y deathness.

      Delete
    3. Oops, your right Matt. No fire damage. Are you just ignoring the BFG then b/c qui-gon stands over it?

      Delete
    4. No, I'll grab for it and take it with me if I can.

      Delete
    5. Ok. It's not going to stop you from taking it, just making sure your willing to risk the OA and dropping below 0.

Balder moves to E13 to grab the BFG from under Qui-Gon's feet. The Jedi strikes at him, guarding the future tech from his ancient hands...
OA from Qui-gon: (14)+7=21 vs AC 18. hit! for (3)+5=8 damage. Balder drops to -3 hp and is dazed. He gets teh BFG, but at a cost. Since dazed, you lose the move action and stay in the courtyard. 10 fire damage and Balder is at -13 hp.

Loki's turn (clock reset to now). Map Updated shortly.

      Delete
    6. Sorry, Balder in F12, not E13...makes more sense, ya?

      Delete
    7. Wait a sec. The Guardian Arrow was if Aslan attacked Thor, not Odin.

  6. Ok, so it was Thor originally guarded, changed to Odin. Turn goes off as originally stated. Balder ends his turn in H15.

  7. Reappearing again, far from the fray, the devious Lord of Lies strolls southward. Glancing a foe through the doorway, he mutters foul explanations, before clinching his fists, forming frozen chains in mid air, and hurling them towards his target.

    Crunch:
    Move: O8
    Minor: Curse Oskar
Standard: Chains of Levistus, +3 vs Fort (12), 4d6+5 damage, +5 if attack bloodies. Extra 2d6 damage if Oskar moves.

    1. [Carnage]
Chains of Levistus vs Oskar: (16)+3=19-2 for cover+2 from Thor's healing word=19 vs Fort 12...hit! for (1+6+6+2)+5=20 damage +5 for bloodying=25 damage to Oskar. Oskar falls to 0! Oskar drops the railgun and rocket launcher in L12.

With the score as is, I assume Oskar will respawn. At location 4 to be exact. Map Updated.

  8. [OOC]

I would have fallen to 0, if Chains of Levistus didn't do Cold damage, which I resist 5 of. So I assume that I am where I was on the Pentagram with 5 hit points, and no respawn.

    [Oskar]

"You cannot bind me! I am the keeper of the list, and the list is life, my friend! This rocket launcher, however..."

    [Tech]

Start turn on Pentagram to activate it.

Minor: Healing Word on Aslan, surge +1d6 and he gets a +2 power bonus to attack until EofNT.

Move as minor: reload rocket launcher

Standard: Shoot Loki in the face with a rocket.

  9. [OOC]
Right Right, Osakr stays put, my bad. I'll put you back in L12 when I update the map next.

    [Carnage]
Aslan heals for (3)+5=8 hp. Aslan at 8 hp. +2 bonus applied (what a buffed lion/insect thing he is!).

    Rocket reloaded, Rocket Launched:
(19)+8=27 vs AC 13. A definite hit!...for (6+5+3+2+3+1)=19 fire damage. Loki drops to 13 hp.

Tell Me, Qui-Neeson, what shall you do with two enemies before you?

Qui-Gon's turn from the Airport bar via email:
"I'm at the airport right now, so I can't get to my character sheet to find the exact name and stats, but I have a burst 1 at will attack to use as standard, I place my Aegis on Thor as minor, and if he's within range, I use my move to use telekinetic leap on Oskar to fly him off and back on the pentagram"
    TL;DR:
    Sword burst
    Aegis on Thor (marking him),
then use telekinetic leap on Oskar to re-activate the pentagram.

    [Carnage]
    Sword Burst:
vs Balder (3)+5=8 vs Ref 16...miss!
vs Thor (14)+5=19 vs Ref 12...hit! for (6)+5=11 damage. Drops Thor to 0 and dazes him (again).
    Thor is also marked.

Telekinetic leap: Ranged power, so Balder gets the OA as Thor is dazed:
(14)+0=14...miss! Those ranged attackers never seem to be able to connect with an OA....

Oskar flies on and off the pentagram again...activating it and burning within sight of archway (2). Thats Ra's! He takes 15 damage, drops to -26 hp, and is GIBBED.

Thor is up, dazed, and down by 4: Team Ragnorak 18, Team Neeson 14.

    3. Ah yes, forgive me in my rush towards the finish.

Oskar takes (3+5)-5=3 cold damage. Oskar at 2 hp then.

  12. Well, it's worth a try - what can we lose at this point, right? ROLL ALL THE d6s!!

    [Tech]

       Attack: +6 +4 (juggernaut) = +10 vs AC 22
Hit: 6d6 brutal +6 damage +1d8+2 necrotic damage (hey look, even if nobody else did, Thor went to 0 HP)
       Effect: +4 to hit Thor!

      !!!DAT DEATHMATCH!!!
And I do believe Ra's was w/i 5 of you Thor, so DR goes off as well for an extra (1)+2=3 damage. Qui-Gon takes a total of 35 and drops to -14 hp (And one, ONE! hp away from the gib).

      Savage Juggernaut Level 5 reached!

Ra's respawns at location 1. He has the remaining 7.25 hours to act. Does the master of the league of shadows allow the game to continue?

    2. Oh hey, that Dark Reaping die is brutal as well.

(Thor totally can't keep a straight face like Loki can for these things)

  13. With a deranged grin, his mind twisted from repeated ressurections in the Lazarus Pit, Ra's Al Ghul, Master of the Legue of Shadows, surveys the battlefield.

Looking upon the battered bodies of the Asgardians, the Demon's Head laughs triumphantly. Victory is imminent... but there is always time for one last machination, one last twist of the knife.

    [tech]

    Move Action: Run to D9

Standard Action: Charm of Misplaced Wrath against Thor.

    +0 (+5, -5 for running) vs. Will

    Hit: Slide him to I14.

Effect: he makes a MBA against Odin with a +2 bonus to damage.

Minor Action: sustain whirlwind, sliding Oskar on and off the pentagram.

    Free Action: win

      CYBERDEMON
vs Odin: (11)+8=19 vs AC 17...hit! Odin takes 20 Fire & Thunder damage and drops to 4 hp.

MIGHT AS WELL CALL IT HERE, TEAM NEESON HAS OUT WITTED THE NORTHMEN!
CONGRATS TO ALL, ITS BEEN A VICIOUS 3 WEEKS!

    2. Again, Oskar should be dead by now, thus Loki is not...

    3. Oskar is slid the second time by the whirlwind, so no extra damage from chains. But as the telekinietic leap is granted movement, that sticks.
