  1. RUDOLPH IS BECKONED TO RETURN TO PLATFORM #2 FOR ONE FINAL SLEIGH RIDE.

  2. With a spring and a hop, Rudolph appears on a platform FAAAAAAAAR away from his enemies. "Santa, what do I do?" His nose all a glow. "I know, I'll bring them some bright Christmas cheer!" Hopping and jumping his way across the map, the bravest of reindeer arrives to the east and a wind of strong Christmas air blasts away at Beric.

  5. Every creature in Cage 4 Liked Darkness a lot...
But the Grinch, spawning inside of cage 2, Did NOT!
The Grinch hated darkness! The whole racial power!
Now, please don't ask why. Please just let the Grinch glower.

It could be the arcane whirlwind that made him mad.
It could be, perhaps, that his rolls were too bad.
But I think that the most likely cause I can see,
May have been that his team was down by points numb'ring three.

Whatever the reason, the points or his rolls,
He stood there in cage two, hating his foes,
Staring down from his cage with a sour, Grinchy frown,
At the wounded enemies who should be put down.

For he knew every man down in cage 2 beneath,
Was desperate need of a kick to the teeth.
"And they're hiding in darkness!" he snarled with a sneer,
"Tomorrow the game ends! It's practically here!"

And the more the Grinch thought of team red victory,
The more the Grinch wanted a fresh killing spree
"Why, for over two weeks I've put up with it now!"
"I MUST stop this red team from winning! But HOW?"

Then he got an idea! An awful idea!
THE GRINCH GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA!

"I know just what to do!" The Grinch said with a grin.
And he shot an arrow where Jaqen had been
And he chuckled, and clucked, "What a great Grinchy trick!"
"And if I miss I'll redirect towards Beric, that d***!"

In one tiny leap the Grinch crossed to cage 3 (Mt. Crumpit)
"I'll straddle your soon dieing corpse and I'll hump it!"
With that last insult the Grinch took a seat
eager to watch his opponents get beat.

  13. One final time, the Lightning Lord steps into the world. He is missing an eye, his hand is burnt, there are hoof-marks embedded in his chest, and a pick-axe wound in his shoulder. He bears the burns of lightning, and arrow wounds pierce dot his back. His weary brow is a testament to his devotion, and he stands tall.

His mighty sword (flail) ablaze, he begins to speak. As his cry rises, across the fields of battle, from the wartorn cages to the nests of the Wyverns above, he begins to charge for a final time. "It all fades. Sometimes I think I was born on the bloody grass in that grove of ash, with the taste of fire in my mouth and a hole in my chest. Through the Lord of Light I have been reborn, times beyond counting, and I have lost a piece of myself every time. But this time, this time the dark one shall lose one of his servants, and with the strength of this sword (flail) I will be the one to snuff him out. For the night is dark, and full of terrors!"

  15. OOC: I was going to wait, but on the advice of the DM...

Pyat Pree looks about recalling the horror and mayhem that was this tournament to the death (and death, and death...) and finds himself pleased. His unlikely allies from Westeros and Bravos have helped him secure the secret to the draconic beings in this strange realm, though his opponents put up a worthy challenge.

He then considers this place and decides to conduct a few experiments to see what impact the dimension's physics would have on his spells.

    Tech:

Standard: Magic Missile Yukon for 7 damage (zzzzzap).

    Action Point: Hypnotism vs Yukon.
    +5 vs Will
Hit: Attempt to slide him to F6 (for the hells of it)

Move: Shadow Jaunt to A7, gain insubstantial
Free: Chameleon's Mask to hide using Arcana (+10, -5 for moving more than 2 squares[?], not that it's relevant. Also note that I really wanted Ross to let me hide without you guys knowing exactly where, again just to see if that were possible.)

OOC: I'll contemplate the use of my minor action for the next 12 hours or so, or until the match ends, whichever comes first (oh wait...)

  16. Pyat Pree "takes a knee" for the next few hours, running down the clock to VICTORY!!!

    3. Keep in mind these stats are far from perfect, as I didn't start recording until ~round 7, and there were a lot of revisions and whatnot to account for.

If you want to know any other stats, lemme know.

    4. wow, great stats. Also, holy monks, batman!

    5. Holy crap! I have trouble keeping track if my own team members have used their AP - that is some major dedication to statistics!

    6. For comparison, this makes me want to tally stats for match 16 as well. Super-excel sheet prep go!

      Delete
    7. I am planning on doing that, too, despite probably not competing.

I might even do it at the live tourney, even though I AM competing, making me MAYBE CRAZY.

      Delete
    8. Yeah man, thats really cool to see stats like that. Very handy in analyzing the map as well.

For counting kills, youll find you end up with a lot if ambiguous cases, such as: if Pree slides an enemy into a teleport, but Gregor runs through to telefrag, who then gets the kill? It gets even weirder with Humiliations that teleport, respawning that could telefrag, terrain that is deadly (does the map get a kill?)and and the basic idea that MOST kills are technically self-inflicted so as to hasten respawn.

This is why we do not track kills.

      Delete
    9. Yeah, I remember I WAS tracking kills, but then someone (I think Rudolph) got a HUMILIATION that ended up telefragging Jaqen.

      Like.

      Wut.
