Odin steps forward, and places a hand on Thor's shoulder. "My Son, we shall strik this knave together!"
{tech} Move: To H3 Minor: Inspiring Word on Thor, Healing Surge +1d6 Standard: Race the Arrow on Ra's: +6 vs AC 1d10+4. Thor can then charge the (unconscious) Ra's with a +4 to hit & damage
Move to H2, H3 is 7sq away and I assume Odin does not run here. Remember, these are hard corners!
Thor is heartened by his father's hand, healing (4)+7=11 hp and is at 28 (full) again.
RtA: (13)+6=19-2 for cover= 17 vs AC 16...hit! for (9)+4+4 from relentlessly wounding him earlier =17 damage Ra's drops to -13 hp and is GIBBED. Staff of Defense was used in Round 4, and Ra's has kept ticking until now... No charge from Thor, Odin took care of this himself! (plus, due to the blocking terrain, thor would have been unable to charge. But nonetheless!)
Aslan, gracious Aslan, rejoice the fight at location 4! Map updated shortly.
Score is Neeson 7, Ragnorak 9. Still close, yet the Neesons still dominate the power-ups!
“The wounded prince of lies is not my choice of godlings marked for death. I want the Allfather.” Aslan jumps back into the teleporter and lunges toward the most important person there.
Tech: Move: use Open the Gates of Battle (movement 9, avoid first OA), use 2 movement to get of the teleporter and then jump back on. Here’s were I move depending on where I end up: 1 – Move to H15 2 – Move to H1 3 – Move to I1 4 – Move to I15 Standard: Open the Gates of Battle on Odin or Loki +6 vs. Ref. 3d10+5 damage for Odin or 2d10+5 for Loki. I use Flurry of Blows on Loki or Thor for 3 points of damage, and I pull Thor to I2 (if applicable). If Aslan’s by Odin, AP: Steal wind vs. Odin and Thor +6 vs. Ref. 1d8+5 damage. Waiting to use minor to see results.
At some point in all that craziness, the trigger for Thor's Dark Reaping must have gone off. He gets 1d8+2 extra necrotic damage to his next damage roll.
[OOC-Sorry, deleted by accident.] So in light of looking back to the FTDM overview, effects which add time (such as a killing spree) do not warrant a time extension, neither does a player posting a "wait and see". Let this serve as a reminder to all to try and anticipate actions, especially when dealing with zones.
LOKI IS GIBBED FOR HIS DELAY, Qui-Gon stays in E12 unharmed. It is Oskar's turn.
Also, I'll remind everyone that the 12h posting limit went into affect at noon, lasts until midnight tomorrow. My original idea was noon to noon, but lets extend that until midnight tomorrow night, 1-1-13. If your turn starts within that time period, you won't have a posting limit countdown starting until 12am 1-2-13.
Move: to O10. Standard: howling wall, origin square M8. Include Balder in wall. +4 vs fort, slide to N9 and slowed until EoNT. Minor: Void assumption, disappear from the map.
Howling wall: (2)+4= 6 vs Fort.
How fitting, roll a two, drink the new year's hooch!
Oskar disappears, time for the Jedi to ring in the new year!
[Carnage] All within sight of teleportation archway (3!) take 20 fire damage. Odin is gibbed at -23, Thor drops to -6, and Aslan drops to 3 hp.
As for the Rocket Launcher: (15)+8=23 vs AC 18..hit! I assume that Balder will spend his resilience of stone, gaining 8 hp (total 30 ATM). The Rocket deals (4+6+3+1+2+4)=20 fire and thunder damage. Balder drops to 10 hp.
Thor respawns at location 1. You did him a favor Qui-gon, respawning removed all the terrible nasty charge-preventing conditions he had!!
Will he chance the teleport roulette and maybe charge dat lion?
Wait, what? Thor does not self-gib, yo. It is known.
Where was he? IIRC, he's adjacent to Aslan? And (outside of being at negative HP) still dazed, so I can't pull the Healing Word/not dazed trick this time? (if this is not the case, totally Healing Word first and charging Ra's!)
[Tech] Standard: Avalanche Strike against Aslan (happy new year, Kurt!) Attack: +6 +2 (juggernaut) = +8 vs AC 19 Hit: 6d6 brutal + 6 damage +1d8 +2 necrotic damage Effect: +4 to hit Thor!
The Allfather respawns at location 2.

I used Staff of Defense in round 4 before I was gibbed in round 4. It is available to me now and I wish to use it.
Deletedamnit, let it be konwn that I am not trained in Perception...
DeleteRtA: 17, Staff of Defense make Ra's' AC 19. Miss, no gib, no charge, etc.

Teleportation shuffle to archway (3), then on to I1. Just enough movement to get there, guess that's what insect monks are for, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteOtGoB vs Odin: (19)+6 vs Ref 14..hit! for (3+5+6)+5=19 damage to Odin. Odin is bloodied at 5 hp. Thor takes 3 damage, pulled to I2, and is at 25 hp.
AP Steel wind:
Odin: (9)+6=15 vs Ref 14...hit! for (3)+5 =8 damage. Odin drops to -3 hp.
Thor: (5)+6=11 vs Ref 12...now that's what I call a miss!
Shall the lion rake and claw and scratch with his minor action?
Ooops. Thor is dazed, so that Steel wind becomes a 13 vs Ref 12. Hit! for (6)+5=11 damage. Thor down to 14 hp and bloodied.
DeleteThor is also now slowed by the eternal tide flurry of blows, as well! Your just piling on now, aren't you kurt?!
Deleteno instead I'll use the minor to keep the annoying cyclone up.
DeleteDone. You were so close to that killing spree, though!
DeleteBalder rejoins the fray at location 3, can he save his brethren from the vicious lion?
Map updated shortly.
Oh, I keep forgetting about it, but my feat gives me +1 damage vs. bloody creatures, so Odin should take 1 more point of damage for the second attack.

ReplyDelete[OOC]
DeleteNoted. Thor gains strength from Odin's suffering!
[Carnage]
Skrimish Shot vs Oskar: (19)+8=27 vs AC 19...hit! for (9+2)+5=16 damage. Just enough to drop Oskar (and his weapons) to -1 hp.
Balder takes 10 fire damage from the courtyard and is at 22 hp.
Loki stares at the cyclone in front of him...what shall he do?
One of my teammates pointed out that if I had LOS to Oskar while I was at o7, I could mark him and then use Hunter's Quarry. If this is so, I will.
Delete[OOC]
DeleteIndeed you did have LoS. Quarry added for an additional (5) damage. Oskar down to -6 hp.
Spitting his blood at the demon in the sky, Loki strides forward.
ReplyDelete"Enough! You are, all of you are beneath me! I am a god, you dull creature, and I will not be bullied by a simpleton such as you!"
Crunch
Move: Walk to I12, then see where Loki is pushed.
Loki enters the cyclone at I15 (using up 1 sq of movement), where does Aslan (kurt) slide him?
DeleteToss him to L15. I don't believe he has LOS to anyone on Team Liam.
DeleteL15 it is. Loki, you have 5sq of movement left on your move action...
DeleteTick tock goes the clock, soon loki will be splattered...."
